Ng Ying Kune Lineage
While the lineages of the karate portion of CKKA, will vary depending on the style (i.e. Goju Ryu, Shotokan, etc) the lineage of the kung-fu family Ng Ying Kune (Kuen) will remain constant in our family. The following chart and links will help the students understand our shared heritage. We encourage all students to research this lineage to gain an understanding and a sense of pride.
Missing from this lineage is "little" Dave Chong the person who, with "big Dave" formed the CKKA.
Please note that the lineage chart was derived from numerous sources, and some of the information was contradictory in dates and events. Suffice to say that the recent history, that of Sigung and the Canadian family, is correct to a point and will be updated as we talk to others in our martial arts family.
